Ok, I really believe Obama will supercede the 270 threshhold, possibly 300 electoral votes.
I see a landslide victory. A poll was released today that showed 70% of first-time voters/lapsed voters voted for Obama. Only 25% voted for McCain. |

ACORN? Are you serious? GOD, mCcAIN is dumb! ACORN was already explained. It was just something he was doing to get people into voting which is great! We need more voters, seriously, we either have too many stupid ones or we don't have enough voting for the right reasons. I see no reason why they would vote for him just because he encouraged them to take advantage of their natural rights.

Well Aquarian...I just may end up voting for McKinney. I'm really a Ron Paul gal. I originally thought I'd vote for McCain to balance the democrat congress with a repulican pres. Then, for a while, I was going to vote for Baldwin. Today, I read that he was part of the "moral majority"....Robb kinda alterted me to that one.
The more I think about it, I like McKinney. She has more balls than most men.
Though, I don't like socialism, I also know that she won't win. My vote is basically saying that I hate the "front runners". I need more choices! |

| ACORN--They found one guy who registered 73 times thru ACORN. Why would anyone do that unless he planned on casting 73 votes? |

I honestly have no idea what that has to do with Obama. I thought that was what the debate was about, not one man's poor decisions.

You brought up honorable if you recall, and I stated he had a lot of unexplained ends to be considered honorable. ACORN has not been explained, like all the other skeletons in Obama's closet they have been dismissed and blown off with the media bias. There is a difference between that and your idea the questions have been answered.
Along with the Rev. Wright relationship being unexplained, he is far from an honorable candidate. |

Today is the day.
No matter what the outcome is, one thing is for sure: The rich and ruling economic elite will continue to dominate our government, with both Obama and McCain championing militarist policies of aggression and not addressing the growing class schisms that continue to fester under the noses of our leaders.
Vote Third Party. |

Nader got 0.9% of the vote in Florida this time...
It was worth a try! |

| Well, Democrats gained 5 seats in the Senate (so far). They are going to conduct a recount in Minnesotta by mid-November. This puts Dems at 56 in total to the Reps. 44 unless the other races (Alaska's Ted Stevens) is called for the Democratic opponent. In the House, Democrats gained 18 seats (so far- it looks like it will be 22 by the end of this week), solifying a House majority, but still not a filibuster proof majority in the Senate. |

| What is the process of Obama and Biden resigning? Biden won his state only to resign from it before taking new term, so how does that affect their election? Does it trigger a new election, an appointment, or does the other candidate win now by default? |

| The Governor of each State either calls for a new election or fills in the vacancy through an appointment. |

If you really think that ANY President of the United States could be perfect you have a rude awakening. Jesus, everybody has skeletons in their closets, stop ripping on our new leader. |

That was written when he was a candidate, and the questions are still to be answered. Don't tell me not to bring up valid questions when the media was certainly in his corner. The transition period will tell part of the story depending on who ends up in his cabinet.
As far as campaign promises that were extremely unrealistic, his opening speech Tuesday night told you he is already not going to deliver.
I will be there to remind you of every empty promise. |
