This is probably going to get long, the baby P case has really got to me.

The parents (the mother and step father) couldn't be named because she was pregnant when arrested and has just given birth to another child while on remand, they wont release her name to protect that child.

Insanely the same Social Services dept' who failed her son, obviously didn't learn thier lesson because they fought for her to be able to keep her new baby with her in prison. Thankfully the police intervened and the baby was taken from it's mother a few hours after it was born and placed with foster carers.

I hope this woman rots in hell, a mothers job is to protect her child, theres nothing more basic than that. As a mother to 3 young children it is completely alien to me that a mother would stand by and let a child, any child, suffer any abuse, let alone the torture that her poor baby suffered.

The latest reports say that she isn't sorry, she admitted to watching porn while her partner was upstairs torturing the baby and she knew what he was doing. She has also joked that what she did wasn't that bad and that she thinks she will be out before Christmas to do some shopping. She was also giggling in court as the list of injuries that her baby suffered was read out.

In my eyes, she is worse than the man that actually hurt her son. She was his mother, the one person in the world that should willingly give her own life in a second to save him. I know that if anyone even thought about laying one finger on any of my kids I would rip thier arm off and choke them with it.

The Briitsh justice system sucks, the most the three of them in the baby P case can get is 14 years, thats cut to half if they behave while inside and as mentioned earlier, British prisons are not a punishment, they are a holiday camp, tv's, games consoles, movie nights, they can decorate thier cells with curtains and fluffy pillows, a Christmas dinner better than most pensioners will get this winter. They have human rights and they are respected, it makes me sick, what about the rights of thier victims and victims families?

Imo, if you commit a serious crime, especially a violent crime and especially against children, you automatically give up your human rights, end of story, you go to jail, a real jail and you stay there forever. Or even better, you are put in a room with your victims family and if you survive that, then you can go to jail, a real jail and stay there forever, asking yourself day after day if you really were lucky to end up there.

Stuff the death sentence, thats the easy way out for them, they should be left to live in misery for the rest of thier sick lives, a small portion of what thier victims families go through.

RIP Baby Peter, at last you have peace Crying or Very sad

I don't think it's about teaching them a lesson. Adults are hard to teach, once you shut your mind off to expansion (usually when you get out of school) it becomes quite hard to change ones ways. It ought to be depending on the risk of an individual on society. I would the two of them high risk. No concience is not a good thing.

Yes I think that should be the role of the mother, to selflessly and unconditionally protect.

Giggling in court. That's absolutely a disgrace, see, so she's sick. IMO If they're sick (As in they don't think they did anything wrong, and/or feel no guilt) they should sit forever in a jail, or in an asylum because they obviously aren't fit to be in society. Crying or Very sad

Really sad case, I don't know how anyone could hurt a defenceless baby like that, what a coward. I had another word but it may or may not, have been too vulgar.

I wasn’t on about teaching adults a lesson. (Even though it sounded it) I was thinking about teaching the kids in the world a lesson. You do something wrong; you die, very, very slowly.

The height of tech we have now days we should be able to keep somebody alive long enough so they get to the quartering part of hanging, drawing and quartering.

There are some countries in the world where they have no crime; not because all the people are nice, but because the punishment is so harsh.

God I’d be good as P.M

The mother should be hung. The stepfather. Well I can’t say what I’d do to him. The Social Services a woefully under funded, but even so you’re given a job so you do it to the best of you’re ability and get on with it, you don’t f*** around like pansies on fire. They should be taken over. They haven’t done their job so why are they allowed to continue.

The smarmy little fag Ed Balls should grow some balls and do what’s right.

Fourteen years isn’t enough for anything above `death by dangerous driving`. Fourteen years in a holiday camp, singing, dancing, P.C games and T.V combined with the fact that they get paid it’s a joke. I think they get paid £350 a WEEK; an OAP gets £90 a week. That’s a joke. You kill someone and you get more then an old person that’s paid into the system for years.

You need to download this. Somewhere in it tell you how much we spend on prisons in the UK.

I’ve been told off by blues for using the word f*** to many times hence why I used Fag instead Wink . Strange, I would have thought it would have been using the word `bastard` that would have landed me in trouble first. Laughing

sorry blues mate Crying or Very sad

Selfishness is most of mankind's problems, and not just Americans. We all fail to see two steps ahead of our own decisions and take into account how others might be affected by what we do. There is a bigger picture beyond the individual, but most individuals don't see it, or ignore it.

I see it in my children. I have to teach them that what they decide to do, has effects on the people around them, and in the house, because they don't understand the concept at that age.

As adults, I really don't know what their excuses are.

I know exactly what the excuse is, because they weren't brought up by parents who instilled the necessary values and morals. Or I guess I don't know, but I feel pretty heavily that's the root of the problem.

Second man stabbed in two days.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/beds/bucks/herts/7737251.stm

But don’t worry because they keep telling crime’s coming down.

Well the way they count it, it might be but not if you look at the facts yourself.

I’ll find them give me a while.
